We have purchased about 30 mashines Toshiba e-studio 282 and Toshiba e-studio 280.within two year about 60% of them their scanner enabler have been damaged.

When we return to the distributer, they said that the reason was shutting off the machine using the power button instead of shutting it down using their software. Is that reasonable?!!

If so, should not that considered as "Manufacturing fault"? they are still in the guarantee period.

Shouldn't them replace these parts for free within the guarantee agreement?!

For more information you can call me on the following number: +0020105386612.Thanks

E-Studio 282 model at Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee (Uttarakhand), India could not be repaired even after one month despite several requests. Please rectify the fault immediately.

The SCANNER enabler for Toshiba-282 is model: GM-3020

Is this the product you say was damaged from turning machine off and on by use of on-off power switch, located on front panel, behind a protective, swinging flip lid? I MAY be able to help.
