I bought a Toshiba laptop in August of 2008 and by November, it was not usable. The part you put the power cord on in the pc broke off and I could not power it up or charge it.

When I sent it to be fixed, they said it was my fault and wanted to charge me even though it was only a few months old.

If the prong had been fastened adequately, using it normally as I did, would not have broken it. This computer was under warranty and they refused to honor it and tried to blame charge me almost as much as I paid for the laptop to fix it.

You BROKE the laptop and yet tried to get Toshiba to fix it for you, for free? You are a liar and a theif. They should take that laptop and bop you on the head with it.

The notebook was under warranty but the battery and power supply normally only has a 6 month warranty is at all.

How about reading the warranty detials before you buy?
